The post holder will deputise for the estates managers as required.The post holder will be responsible for the Estates Function. Taking a leading role in the management of staff, ensuring that the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme is maintained and revised on an ongoing basis. They will report the department's performance on a monthly basis to the Estate manager detailing variations in standards and activity. They will advise the Estates manager of any changes to the condition of the estate. Act as Authorising Officer and/or AP for delegated activities e.g. medical gases, working at heights, LV working, working with asbestos, confined spaces Legionella Sterilizers etc.The post holder will be required to be part of an on call out of hours service.ManagementThe post holder will support the Estates Manager in the effective management and operations of plant and equipment, services and buildings ensuring prompt remedial action takes place when required, either through direct labour or through contractors, with an emphasis at all times on patient care.The post holder will be responsible on for the monitoring of all maintenance operations on site, monitoring the performance of all staff under their control, ensuring appropriate action is taken where applicable to ensure quality of service and response targets are met.The Post Holder will maintain contact with clients to ensure a satisfactory high quality service.
