Plan and coordinate calibration using the database, whilst ensuring that all records are maintained and are easily accessible.Conduct Calibration supplier audits where necessary.Coordinate the retrieval / delivery of gauges to & from gauge owners.Where possible undertake mechanical or electrical calibration on internal gauges with UKAS /ISO17025 accredited equipment.Ensure all equipment on the database are calibrated to respective national standards UKAS/ISO17025 and customer requirements, as appropriate.Write and maintain procedures for calibration for internal calibration.Manage disposition - i.e. work with gauge owners to take the necessary actions where gauges are either un-calibrated / failed calibration as per company procedures.Arrange calibration by approved external companies and to incorporate these into the agreed timescalesSupport the test & metrology department.Maintain budget, raise purchase orders (where necessary) and continuously strive for cost and quality improvements.Comply with the Health and Safety policy and observe all safety rules.
