Join our team as a School Attendance/Administration Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our client schools across Cambridgeshire. We have multiple positions available for dedicated and proactive individuals who want to contribute to a thriving educational community. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference!
The working hours for this full-time employment are 8:00 am to 16:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start date.

Responsibility:
- Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
- To be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the manual and computerised pupil data records (using SIMs - experience is essential)
- To provide general clerical support as required, including minute taking when necessary
- To undertake filing and photocopying as required, including the basic maintenance of the photocopier
- To undertake word processing as required using Microsoft Office - including the all attendance letters
- To collect, collate and distribute leaflets, letters and information packs for parents and carers
- To be a point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries, taking messages where appropriate in a warm and welcoming manner
- To ensure school security arrangements are always complied with, including the use of the electronic signing in system and issue of visitors' badges
- To accept and sign for deliveries as appropriate, checking items against delivery notes. To provide hospitality for visitors to the school
- To provide guidance and information for all new prospective pupils and parents/carers
Requirements / Skills:
- An enhanced DBS check is essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Committed, flexible and enthusiastic
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Become a SIMS user and produce reports as when requested
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set and work to agreed targets and work schedules
