Our client has a vacancy for a Creative Arts Technician who will work across the Creative Arts Department (Art/Photography and Textiles, Food Technology and Resistant Materials).
You will be required to work from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday-Friday, as this is a full-time position that starts soon.

In this role, you will:
... - Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to art teachers and students, including setting up equipment, preparing materials and maintaining studios and workshops
- Creative Problem-Solving: Find innovative solutions to technical challenges, ensuring the smooth running of art classes and projects
- Material Management: Manage art supplies, maintain inventory and order new materials as needed
- Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with art teachers and students to support creative projects and exhibitions

Requirement skills for this role:
- Experience of working as an Art Technician in a school environment (desirable)
- Art qualification
- Right to work in the UK (ESSENTIAL)
- 2 recent professional references
- An enhanced DBS on the update service preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families
- Empathy and a supportive approach to addressing student and family concerns
- Proficiency in using relevant computer software and databases for attendance tracking
