We're excited to be looking for a caring, organised and enthusiastic professional to lead our friendly Partner School Office team in Baldock. Every day brings something different, so we're looking for someone who is flexible, tactful and great at solving problems. It's important that you're approachable, professional and confident in communicating with families, staff and visitors. This is a permanent position starting in late April or early May, allowing time for a supportive handover from our retiring Office Manager.

The school is searching for a remarkable Office Manager who aspires to be a part of this unique school's leadership. This is a fantastic chance to improve how all financial and commercial activities are delivered.
This is a full time permanent role available to start ASAP and you will be expected to work from 8:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience of working in a school office (desirable)
- has experience of working as part of an administrative or business team
- has experience of managing a small team
- has excellent communication skills in order to negotiate and liaise with our school community
- is flexible, well organised and able to prioritise
- has excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and have experience of databases and communications software
- can be a friendly and approachable person at the front of the school, liaising with parents, young children, staff and visitors
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a proven track record in a similar role
- Eligibility to work in the UK. (This is essential)
- DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Have proven expertise in financial management, strategic financial thinking and analysis
- To work flexibly and undertake other duties as may be required by the Headteacher, to ensure the smooth running of the school
- Carry out Professional Development Reviews of site and Office/Administrative staff and initiate relevant professional development
