About the School
This is an all through (4-16 years) special school for children with a range of special educational needs which is located near Bar Hill (Cambridgeshire). The majority of children have social and communication difficulties including autism. Staff at this school benefit from an excellent team ethos.

We are looking for a Receptionist who is dependable, organised and efficient to work at a fast pace all through school to work from Monday-Friday and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
... - To represent the school in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors
- Assist in arrangements for school trips, events, rooms, etc.
- Provide general admin support such as photocopying, filing, faxing, e-mailing
- Use of the school database SIMS
- Assist in completing standard forms and responding to routine correspondence by maintaining all documentation
- Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, filing, routine correspondence
- Sort and distribute mail, Maintain and collate pupil reports
- Undertake general administrative procedures
- Provide staff, students and others with advice and direction

Requirements / Skills:
- Committed, flexible and enthusiastic
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Relevant experience working with schools
- Considerable experience of the schools computerised database, SIMS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set and work to agreed targets and work schedules
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get new one
