Supply Science Teacher Position in Bootle
We're looking for highly-skilled and adaptable Secondary Science Teachers to join our team for supply roles in the Bootle area.
This is a great opportunity to apply your expertise in a variety of school settings, with a daily rate of £150 - £220, paid weekly. We partner with numerous schools in the L20 and L30 postcode areas, giving you the flexibility to choose placements that suit you.
Your Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (ages 11-18).
- Practical Application: Safely lead and supervise students through laboratory experiments and demonstrations, making scientific concepts tangible and exciting.
- Assessment: Evaluate student work and provide constructive, timely feedback to support their academic progress.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, focused, and safe learning environment, upholding school policies and standards of behaviour.
- Collaboration: Work alongside school staff and other teaching professionals to ensure a seamless and productive educational experience for students.

What You'll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in a relevant Science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Demonstrable experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service), or willingness to apply for one.
