Core Responsibilities
January Launch: Hit the ground running in the spring term, delivering high-quality Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4.
GCSE Focus: Utilize your deep understanding of exam specifications to boost student attainment and confidence ahead of the summer exams.
Safe Practical Learning: Lead engaging laboratory experiments, ensuring strict adherence to CLEAPSS health and safety standards at all times.
Track & Intervene: Use assessment data to identify student needs, providing tailored support to ensure every learner reaches their potential.
Faculty Integration: Collaborate with Chorley's dedicated science technicians and teaching staff to maintain a consistent, high-standard learning experience.
Candidate Profile
QTS Status: Mandatory, along with a relevant degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Proven Success: Experience teaching the UK Science curriculum at the secondary level.
