Science Teacher- Crosby
We're excitedly looking for passionate and qualified Science Teachers to work with us in the Crosby area. You'll be responsible for inspiring students with a love for scientific inquiry and critical thinking, helping them to develop a strong understanding of subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics.
This is a teaching role with a daily rate of £150 to £220.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and safe classroom environment, especially during practical lab experiments.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with other teaching staff, school administration, and parents to support student development.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or school events where possible.

Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
- A bachelor's degree in a science-related subject is highly desirable.
- Proven experience teaching science at a primary or secondary school level in the UK.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong knowledge of the UK science curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
- A valid and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or the willingness to apply for one.
