Science Teachers - The Wirral Peninsula (CH41-CH66)
We are currently recruiting Science Teachers for a variety of secondary schools across the entire Wirral Peninsula. We welcome both inspired ECTs and experienced educators.
We have positions across West Kirby (CH48), Heswall (CH60), Bebington (CH63), Bromborough (CH62), Wallasey (CH44/CH45) and Birkenhead (CH41/CH42) with easy commutes.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of subject and curriculum.
- Strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).

Key Duties:
- Deliver clear and engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Set up and oversee safe practical experiments in the lab.
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Follow departmental schemes of work and exam board specifications.
- Work closely with lab technicians to prepare resources for practicals.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
