What You'll Do
- Deliver exciting and interactive Science lessons tailored to all abilities and key stages
- Develop lesson plans that balance theory with hands-on experiments
- Assess student progress and provide targeted support to enhance learning outcomes
- Work closely with colleagues to share resources and create a cohesive Science curriculum
- Ensure a safe and well-equipped learning environment, especially during practical activities
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay ahead in Science education
- Promote a positive classroom culture that encourages scientific enquiry and respect
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching Science in secondary schools
- Deep knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics concepts
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Passion for inspiring students and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs
- Commitment to student welfare and academic excellence
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one
