Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across key stages, tailored to student needs
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum and School policies
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices
- Support extracurricular activities related to Science where appropriate
- Contribute to the wider life of the School, promoting a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
- A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
