Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Witham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 and running until the end of the academic year.
The Role
We are seeking an educator who doesn't just follow a lab manual but explores the "how" and "why" behind every experiment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with the opportunity for KS5 if applicable), ensuring all students are supported and challenged through practical and theoretical learning.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a resilient professional with a deep knowledge of the British Science curriculum. We are looking for an educator who is as safety-conscious as they are engaging.
- UK Experience: You must have previous experience teaching Science in a UK school setting.
- Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Subject Knowledge: A strong command of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4.
- Compliance: Must possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage lab dynamics effectively while fostering a safe and positive learning environment.
