The school combines a K-12 international school for foreign passport holding students and school for mainland China ID-holding students. The campus has a total capacity of 4000 students. Requirements

Through large group sessions, break-out sessions, and specialized elective classes, the drama program focuses on using the first class facilities; black, theatre, and open performance spaces to showcase student's artistic confidence.

The Drama teacher will coordinate and lead performances throughout the year with both our internal and extended school communities.

Experience with, and passion for teaching a multifaceted drama programme that includes appreciation, performance, lighting, backstage sound control and stage production are essential components of this position, as is a passion for teaching young learners and nurturing their creativity and enthusiasm.

• 2+ years of post-qualification experience
• Previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum is preferred, high potential candidates without IB experience might be considered
• Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
• A willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
• Ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
• Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and an ability to create a successful learning environment
• Show accountability for each student's progress and well-being.
• Have a commitment to reflection and improvement of personal practice.
• Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team, with a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
