Location Overview:
This school campus is located in the northern part of Milan just a few minutes' drive from the city centre. Milan itself is an exciting and dynamic place to live; a global capital of fashion and Italy's leading financial centre, as well as being a major cultural hub boasting rich art and architecture including the iconic landmark the Duomo cathedral. With a well-connected international airport, and excellent infrastructure including four metro lines, it is a cosmopolitan location with a welcoming expat network. The city will also host the Winter Olympics in 2026.
Job Overview:
The post is teaching Maths, and potentially some Science on the timetable, up to age 16. Curriculum is IB MYP and iGCSE will be offered from next year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote the 'mission' and philosophy of the school, ensuring that students are working towards being global citizens;
- Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of students;
- Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and where all students feel comfortable expressing their views, opinions and needs;

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree in the specific subject area of Maths or related field.
- QTS or international teaching qualification.
- Excellent subject knowledge; able to combine academic knowledge and achievement with a passion for the subject to boost learning outcomes.
- Experience of the IB curriculum would be advantageous, but familiarity with experiential, project-based learning and inquiry programs in other curricula would be accepted.
- Prior experience in an international school environment is desirable.
- Any knowledge of Italian would be considered a plus.
