Role Overview
You will be teaching Physics within the UK science curriculum at GCSE and A Level.
Primary Duties:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored Physics classes incorporating innovative teaching methods that foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
- Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum, effectively addressing the diverse needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure each learner's holistic development and academic success.
Additional Duties:
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Contribute to curriculum development initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education OR Bachelor's degree in Physics / related teaching subject, plus PGCE.
- UK QTS or appropriate Teaching License.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting.
- Proven ability to design and implement engaging lessons.
- Expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Demonstrated success in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong understanding of literacy and mathematical skill development within a Secondary setting.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
- Dedication to community engagement and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
