The Role
This is a full-time position for a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant who is ready to immerse themselves in a high-achieving academic culture. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal link between the teaching staff and the students, providing both academic scaffolding and pastoral support. Requirements
... - Prior experience working with children or young adults in a formal setting.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A genuine interest in the secondary curriculum and student welfare.

Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored 1-on-1 support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Leading small group interventions to boost literacy and numeracy levels.
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and resource management.
- Monitoring student progress and providing detailed feedback to the department.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's high-expectation policy.
- Supporting students during exams and assessments as a reader or scribe.
- Fostering an inclusive learning environment for EAL and SEND students.
- Supervising students during break times and extracurricular activities.
- Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure specific targets are met.
- Acting as a positive role model, upholding the school's ethos at all times.
