About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with varying needs.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lesson materials and classroom activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and school trips.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Liaise with parents and other staff members to ensure student well-being.
- Help to create and display educational resources.
- Undertake administrative tasks as required by the teaching staff.
