A pioneering firm is looking for an experienced Security Consulting Practitioner to join a dedicated Defence team. You will act as a pivotal advisor, helping to safeguard the UK's interests by shaping robust security strategies and building cyber-resilient infrastructures.
You will carry out the following responsibilities
- Lead the Strategy: Design and implement innovative security roadmaps that align with complex MoD objectives and evolving global threats.
- Identify Critical Risks: Lead comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability studies to identify gaps before they can be exploited.
- Design for Resilience: Oversee the development of secure-by-design architectures and technical solutions that strengthen the UK's defensive posture.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide authoritative guidance across multiple cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops that upskill internal talent and drive high-level decision-making.
- Navigate Complexity: Solve intricate security challenges across various workstreams, ensuring that security is a facilitator-not a barrier-to operational success.
Essential Skills
- Architecting long-term security roadmaps and frameworks.
- Executing deep-dive assessments and mitigation planning.
- Designing resilient, secure-by-default systems.
- identifying and neutralizing infrastructure weaknesses.
- Guaranteeing quality and compliance across all workstreams.
- Shaping policy that aligns with MoD objectives.
- Mentoring teams and driving high-level decision-making.
- Holding (or eligibility for) active SC/DV Clearance.
