Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to SEMH learners
- Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
- Support pupils in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and academic progress
- Work collaboratively with SEN professionals, parents, and external agencies
- Apply trauma-informed and restorative approaches to behaviour and relationships
About You:
- QTS or QTLS (essential)
- Child DBS on the update service
- Experience working with SEMH students in an SEN or mainstream setting
- A compassionate, resilient, and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEND legislation
- Committed to fostering independence and emotional growth in young learners
