We are partnered with a nurturing and ambitious SEN school in Thetford, dedicated to supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Their mission is to provide a safe, structured, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive. The school is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join their team of passionate educators.
This role is perfect for someone who is calm under pressure, empathetic, and driven to support children with complex needs on their journey toward personal and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in both group and one-to-one settings
- Implement behaviour support strategies in line with school policies
- Assist teachers in creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships that build trust and encourage student engagement
- Promote the social, emotional, and educational development of each pupil
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEMH and/or other SEN
- Child DBS on the update service
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, consistent, and patient in challenging situations
- A proactive and reflective approach to supporting learning and behaviour
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
