Role Overview:
As an SEN English Teacher, you will deliver differentiated English lessons to students with a variety of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver English lessons tailored to individual learning needs, using the P Scales framework and other SEN guidelines.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse abilities and learning styles.
- Create a supportive and encouraging classroom environment to build confidence and engagement.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils and colleagues to foster collaboration.
- Assist with personal care when required to enable learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Experience teaching English in SEN settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Immediate availability to start.
