Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time, permanent ICT/STEM Teacher with a Science focus for an exceptional specialist SEN school in Stoke-on-Trent, starting September 2025. This is a Full time and a Permanent role starting in September
Responsibilities
As an ICT/STEM Teacher, you will:
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on Science and STEM lessons meticulously tailored to individual learning styles and EHCPs.
- Foster a spirit of inquiry, independence, and practical problem-solving.
- Cultivate a calm, consistent, and encouraging classroom where every student feels secure enough to explore and experiment.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, support teams, and families to provide holistic student care.
- Celebrate every triumph, whether academic, emotional, or personal.
Requirements
- UK QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong command of Science and/or ICT/STEM subjects.
- Proven experience supporting learners with SEND, especially Autism and SEMH.
- Capable of using tech and tailored strategies to improve student engagement and access.
- A resilient, patient, and flexible approach.
- A steadfast commitment to inclusive, student-centred education.
