SEN Teaching Assistant in Crawley
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Crawley?
Randstad Education is searching for a dedicated professional to join our team, working with a variety of primary schools in the Crawley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide vital one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) and make a real difference in their learning journey.
This is a full-time, term-time-only position with competitive daily rates.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the school support team, you'll provide tailored assistance to children with additional needs, primarily within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your main goal is to create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to students with various SEN requirements.
Assisting the class teacher and other staff members.
Working collaboratively with teachers and professionals to support student development.
Helping to manage classroom activities and promote positive behaviour.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for supporting children.
You should have:
Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
A good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
The right to work in the UK.
The ability to travel to schools within a 30-minute radius of Crawley.
