join our team in Crawley. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN), supporting them academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing school environment.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom. You will support pupils with learning activities, implement behaviour management strategies, encourage independence and resilience, and communicate regularly with staff, parents, and external professionals. You'll also contribute to creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, participate in staff meetings, and take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.
We're looking for individuals with experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or relevant settings), a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. A positive, patient, and proactive attitude is essential, as is the ability to commute to the Crawley area. You must also have the legal right to work in the UK.

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year working with children with additional needs.
