Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and tailored science instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans incorporating hands-on activities and visual aids.
- Integrate objectives from Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) into daily teaching.
- Provide comprehensive academic and emotional support to foster student well-being and confidence.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the school's science department.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant science degree.
- At least six months of experience teaching SEN students in UK schools.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Proven expertise in classroom and behaviour management.
- Strong commitment to creating inclusive learning environments and fostering an interest in STEM.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Resilience and adaptability in supporting diverse student needs.
