What you'll be doing:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and communication difficulties.
- Assisting class teachers in adapting learning materials and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
- Fostering a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be adaptable, proactive, and work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are an advantage but not always essential if you have strong experience.
