Randstad Education is seeking dedicated and empathetic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in primary schools throughout Leeds. As a Supply SEN TA, you will provide crucial one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of needs, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in a mainstream environment.
The Role
Your responsibilities as a Supply SEN TA will include:
Providing tailored support to pupils with diverse SEN, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Supporting pupils' emotional and social development.
Liaising with teachers and other school staff to ensure consistent support.
