SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wirral

Are you an empathetic and dedicated individual seeking a fulfilling opportunity to support students with special educational needs? We are recruiting a dependable and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to become part of a superb SEN team in Wirral. This is a full-time, long-term role beginning in September.

Your Role & Essential Skills:

Provide assistance to students with special educational needs during classroom activities and through individual support.
Encourage student participation and nurture their emotional well-being.
Maintain precise records of student conduct and progress.
Communicate clearly and effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals.
Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Work collaboratively and contribute effectively to the team.

Required Qualifications:

At least six months of experience supporting children with special educational needs in a UK school environment.
A current Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to apply for one).
The legal right to work in the UK.
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
A strong dedication to inclusive education and continuous personal development.
