Are you an empathetic and dedicated individual seeking a fulfilling opportunity to support students with special educational needs? We are recruiting a dependable and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to become part of a superb SEN team in Wirral. This is a full-time, long-term role beginning in September.
Your Role & Essential Skills:
- Provide assistance to students with special educational needs during classroom activities and through individual support.
- Encourage student participation and nurture their emotional well-being.
- Maintain precise records of student conduct and progress.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals.
- Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Work collaboratively and contribute effectively to the team.
Required Qualifications:
- At least six months of experience supporting children with special educational needs in a UK school environment.
- A current Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to apply for one).
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- A strong dedication to inclusive education and continuous personal development.
