Randstad Education is actively seeking a qualified, inspiring, and resilient Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for an immediate, full-time, long-term position at a highly-regarded school located in the Wirral.

Role and Responsibilities
- Specialist Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that effectively meet the specific needs outlined in students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assessment and Tracking: Conduct formal and informal assessments, analyse pupil progress data meticulously, and adjust teaching methodologies to ensure maximum attainment.
- Resource and Curriculum Adaptation: Select, develop, and modify instructional materials and classroom activities to make the curriculum accessible to all learners.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with Teaching Assistants, external agencies, and parents/guardians to create a cohesive, multi-disciplinary support strategy.
- Positive Learning Environment: Establish a structured, motivating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that champions excellent behaviour and celebrates every student's effort and progress.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Non-negotiable requirement.
- Relevant Experience: Demonstrable, significant experience teaching students with a variety of Special Educational Needs within a UK school setting.
- Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of SEN codes of practice, different intervention strategies, and effective differentiation techniques.
- Personal Attributes: Must be highly adaptable, patient, proactive, and possess exceptional classroom management skills.
- Safeguarding: Must hold a current, satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, or be willing to apply immediately upon job offer.
- Highly Desirable: A relevant SEN qualification (e.g., NASENCO) or significant experience supporting pupils with complex learning difficulties is a major advantage.
