Your Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Teacher, you will design bespoke learning pathways for your pupils. Your day-to-day will involve:
Creating and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with diverse learning profiles.
Adapting the curriculum using P Scales and individualised learning plans to ensure every child can succeed.
Cultivating a classroom environment that is secure, structured, and focused on emotional well-being.
Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide a holistic support network.
Supporting the dignity and comfort of students by providing personal care assistance when required.
What We Are Looking For
We are searching for a teacher who recognises the potential in every pupil, irrespective of their challenges.
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching within the UK SEN sector.
Expertise in inclusive pedagogy and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively in real-time.
High levels of emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a calm temperament under pressure.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
