Do you have a heart for helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential? Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional Special Needs Teacher for an immediate, full-time, long-term opening in Sefton. We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate educator to work with students who have a range of complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Create and implement highly differentiated lesson plans designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Curriculum Framework: Develop teaching materials that align with the P Scales framework.
- Student Engagement: Build strong rapport with students to promote a sense of trust and encourage their personal and academic growth.
- Instructional Techniques: Employ creative and resilient teaching methods to ensure a positive and effective learning atmosphere.
- Care and Support: Provide assistance with personal care routines as needed.
Requirements:
- Certification: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Work Eligibility: Must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
- Background Check: Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience: Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools.
- Skills: Strong communication and behaviour management skills are a must.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
