The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be working with a diverse group of students, each with their own unique needs. This includes students with Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, and Autism.
Your Responsibilities
- Customised Lesson Delivery: You will plan and teach dynamic, engaging lessons that are specifically tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of your students.
- Curriculum Management: You'll be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons based on the P Scales curriculum.
- Building Positive Connections: Your ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students is key to creating a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Behavioural Expertise: You will use creative and resilient classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and calm atmosphere for all students.
- Personal Care Support: You will provide personal care assistance to students as and when needed.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- UK-Based Experience: You must have prior experience working with students with SEN in a UK school setting.
- Immediate Availability: You should be available to start as soon as possible.
- Working Schedule: You must be available to work five days a week, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- DBS Check: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to apply for a new one.
- Work Eligibility: You must have the legal right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
- Key Skills: You need to have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
