SEN Educator Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. This is a serious, long-term job for a professional who is committed to helping students with diverse learning needs. Position Details
- Location: Sefton
- Schedule: Full-time,Long term
- Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
Your Main Duties:
- Preparing and delivering focused lessons that meet different student needs.
- Checking student progress and using results to improve teaching.
- Making learning materials accessible for all students.
- Working closely with support staff, parents, and other essential services.
- Keeping the classroom organised, safe, and positive.
Required Professional Standards
To qualify for this role, you must meet these non-negotiable standards:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Proven work history teaching students with a range of Special Educational Needs in a UK school.
- Excellent understanding of SEN rules, effective intervention methods, and how to adapt lessons for different learners.
- You must be patient, flexible, take initiative, and be strong in handling the classroom.
- A current, clear Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be ready to secure one quickly.
Advantage: Additional training or significant experience with students who have very complex learning difficulties is highly valued.
