The Role

Core Professional Duties
You will be expected to:
- Plan and Deliver: Create and teach compelling lessons, using advanced differentiation techniques.
- Use both formal and ongoing methods to assess student learning and analyse performance data.
- Expertly adjust learning materials for full student accessibility.
- Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non-negotiable.
- Proven, successful experience teaching a range of SEN within the UK school system.
- Comprehensive understanding of SEN policy, intervention strategies, and best practice.
- Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership.
- Must hold a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to obtain one immediately.
Preferential: Relevant specialist SEN training or significant background supporting students with profound learning challenges is a strong advantage.
