Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced teacher to teach a small class within the Designated Special Provision in a primary school in Knowsley. You will need to have previous experience teaching children with profound and complex learning needs in either a Primary or SEN school and the ability to plan engaging lessons that are tailored to the each child's specific needs. You will be working with primary age children who are at a 12-18 month old level so the ability to support children with a high level of complex needs is essential.
Applicants should have:
* Recent experience of teaching children with profound and complex learning needs .
* Current knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
* Knowledge of child development and relevant attainment levels
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the children in your care
* Ability to support each child's specific learning and development in a creative and flexible way

The successful candidate requires the following qualities:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification that allows you to teach in schools
* Experience of working with SEN & PMLD children
* Good communication skills
* Be committed to working in a team
* Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to the school
