The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Qualified SEN Teacher to join their beautiful team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and experienced educator with a strong understanding of various special educational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teacher who wants to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, designing and delivering tailored lessons that help students overcome challenges and achieve their personal best. You will be a vital part of shaping our students' educational journeys.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students with a range of special educational needs.
- Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes well-being and a love for learning.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and other professionals.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to student support.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and involve them in their child's education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching students with special educational needs in a school setting.
- A strong understanding of SEN frameworks, assessment, and strategies.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
