A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join our partner Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Burwell. We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing an inclusive and engaging learning experience for every student.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Cultivating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assessing student progress, establishing individual learning goals, and providing regular feedback.
- Working collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants and other professionals to support student development.
- Building strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning.
- Implementing and adapting Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A Child DBS on the update service.
- Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of various SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A resilient and creative approach to teaching.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
