The Role: What We're Looking For
We need a qualified teacher with a genuine heart for SEN to inspire students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that is adapted to a range of special educational needs.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and progress.
- Implementing and monitoring Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
- Building strong, trust-based relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Fostering a classroom culture that promotes respect, independence, and a love for learning.
The Ideal Candidate: Who You Are
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Child DBS on the update service
- You have a proven track record of teaching in a special educational needs setting.
- You are adaptable, and possess a strong sense of empathy.
- You are a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
- You are committed to ongoing professional development and are enthusiastic about learning new strategies.
