If you answered yes, we want to hear from you! This primary school in Wythenshawe is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to provide individualised support to pupils who require extra help to reach their full potential.
Here's what you'll do:
- Build positive relationships with all pupils, communicating in a way that's easy for them to understand.
- Support pupils with SEND and ALN, ensuring their safety, access to learning activities, and understanding of the information presented.
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment where all children feel valued and can learn and grow.
- Collaborate with teachers on planning learning activities and displaying pupils' work.
- Assist with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs (desirable).
- Is comfortable working with pupils with SEN.
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one).
- Is passionate about learning and supporting children to achieve their goals.
This is a full-time, long-term position with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
