SEN Support Assistant | Wirral

Tasks

In this role, you will:

Support teachers in delivering tailored learning activities that meet diverse student needs.
Assist pupils in grasping lesson content and developing essential skills.
Contribute to a supportive, engaging learning atmosphere that motivates every learner.
Observe and record student development, offering input and encouragement.
Prepare and organise learning materials.
Participate in school events.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN.
Create engaging learning experiences and assist with classroom management.
Help students develop essential life skills.

Skills

We are looking for someone with:

Experience in a school setting providing non-teaching support (preferred, but not essential).
Enhanced DBS which is on updated Service
Legal Right to work in UK
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students and staff.
Background in offering care and support to learners with SEN (desirable).
A calm, patient nature with the ability to handle varying behaviours and learning paces.
A willingness to learn and adapt to different school environments.
