The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs
- Assist with the planning and delivery of creative, differentiated lessons
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment to support emotional and behavioural development
- Help pupils develop social skills, independence, and confidence
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents
- Support with personal care tasks when required (training provided)

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Child DBS on the update service
- A patient, compassionate, and resilient nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable
