A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a partner SEN school in Milton. We're searching for someone who can provide vital support to students with a variety of needs, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is your chance to be an integral part of a team that helps students reach their personal and academic goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Offering one-to-one and small group assistance to students with diverse needs.
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and personalised lessons.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and confident.
- Supporting students with their social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborating with a team of professionals, including teachers and therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Assisting in the implementation of individualised education plans.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant experience supporting students with SEN is essential.
- A compassionate, understanding, and adaptable approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A Child DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one.
