About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support the class teacher in creating a safe, engaging and supportive environment. You'll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping children develop their communication, learning and social skills.

Provide tailored support to pupils based on individual learning needs
Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom activities and lessons
Encourage the development of confidence, independence and life skills
Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other staff
Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes as needed
Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare

What We're Looking For:

Eligibility to work in the UK
Child DBS on the update service.
Experience working with children or young people (preferably in an SEN or care setting)
A calm, patient and caring attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and take part in training and development
A genuine desire to help children overcome challenges and reach their potential
