An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced Special Educational Needs (SEN) school near Ely. This role is ideal for someone with a nurturing approach, a strong sense of initiative, and a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
About the Role:
- Supporting students aged 4-16 with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties
- Assisting class teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Promoting independence, inclusion, and social interaction
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and SEN specialists

Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in an SEN or care setting is highly desirable (but not essential)
- Calm, patient, and flexible approach to learning support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
