We are searching for a committed and positive Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed partner school in Linton. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential part in the classroom, working with teachers and other professionals to assist with pupils' education, wellbeing, and personal development. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pupils on a one-on-one basis and in small groups
- Help with the preparation of lessons and classroom organisation
- Support and encourage pupils' communication abilities, independence, and social skills
- Keep track of student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Work in partnership with the broader school team and external organisations
- Provide supervision for pupils during their break and lunch times as necessary
- Maintain safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils
What We're Looking For:
- The legal right to work within the UK
- A Child DBS on the update service
- Prior experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN environment
- A calm and compassionate disposition
- Outstanding communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A willingness to learn and undergo additional training
