We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partnered esteemed SEN school in Meldreth, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This school supports children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities:
... - Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver tailored educational support
- Support pupils with personal care and mobility needs where required
- Encourage independence, social development, and confidence in pupils
- Help maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
What We're Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for SEN support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude toward daily challenges
- Previous experience in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential-training will be provided
- A willingness to learn and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
