About the Role
We are searching for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a team near Burwell. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, helping to create an inclusive and stimulating space where every student can feel valued and empowered.
What You'll Do
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
- Help maintain a calm and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom.
- Assist with students' social, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to be adaptable and resourceful.
- A genuine commitment to helping students with SEN succeed.
- Relevant qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
