The Role Details
Providing a structured 4-day working week, this position offers the perfect balance for an educator dedicated to student progress and professional development.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (08:15 - 15:45)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Orpington (Excellent transport links and on-site parking)
Pay: £95 - £110 per day (paid weekly PAYE)
Your Impact
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you won't just be "helping out"-you'll be a vital bridge between the curriculum and the student. You will:
Support students with diverse needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
Work 1:1 or in small groups to break down complex tasks into manageable steps.
Foster a safe and positive learning environment where students feel confident to take risks.
Collaborate with the school's SENCO to track progress and celebrate the "small wins."
Requirements
Experience working with young people (SEN experience in a secondary setting is a huge plus).
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
A resilient, empathetic nature and a genuine passion for social inclusion.
Right to work in the UK.
