About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing essential support to students with a diverse range of learning needs. This full-time position involves:
- Working closely with individual students and small groups both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assisting with personal care needs (as required) with respect and sensitivity.
- Implementing tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters engagement and progress.
- Communicating effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
About You:
- You are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- You have a patient, understanding, and empathetic nature, committed to creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
